The poem is actually a 14 line sonnet. It was written by Bespoke Verse poet (and Oxford graduate!) Joanna Miller, whose wedding poems have featured in magazines such as 'Wedding Ideas' and 'Brides'. In 2013 she won the Wedding Industry Experts award for 'Best Wedding Writer.'
Whether it's the salary of kisses or the lifetime contract, everyone will recognise the role of a husband or wife that the 'The Marriage Advert' describes.
