This beautifully hand inked print featuring a witty garden lovers' poem is a perfect gift for green-fingered friends and family whether it's their birthday, Christmas, Mother's Day or Father's Day.
Whether it's weeding or feeding, mowing or hoeing, we all know someone who is very green-fingered.
This original poem was written by the extremely talented Bespoke Verse poet, Joanna Miller. It is printed on the finest quality card which measures H30 x W21cm (A4). It is unframed.
The poem reads:
The Garden Lover’s Week
On Monday I’ll be digging beds
And snipping off those wilted heads
Tuesdays means the hedge needs trimming
And possibly a bit of strimming
Wednesdays there’s the job of lopping
Pruning, and a bit of chopping
Thursdays means a day of mowing
Plus an afternoon of hoeing
On Friday it is time for weeding
And the watering and feeding
Saturdays, day of adventure:
A trip to tip or garden centre
And Sundays (if the back’s not aching)
It’s getting rid of slugs and staking!
