Written by award-winning Bespoke Verse poet and mum of three Joanna Miller, this poem began life as a gift for her new goddaughter.
It describes all the blessings we might wish for children to know, from the joy of the sun upon their face, to the value of friendship and education.
The print comes unframed.
The wording reads:
Wishes for a Child
May you know the gift of friendship
Feel the sun upon your face
May you win displaying dignity
And accept defeat with grace
May you marvel at the wonders
Of nature and the earth
May you value education
And know your own true worth
May you live and love with honesty
And do the thing that’s right
May you stand up for the helpless
And sleep in peace at night
May you thrive upon a challenge
And sing and dance and laugh
May you know the joy of parenthood
And follow your own path.

The poem is printed onto the highest quality GF Smith white A4 card (330gsm) using Dura-Bright waterproof ink. There is no mount around the print.
Each print is lovingly produced to order. The unframed print arrives flat, wrapped in cellophane, in a super stiff envelope.
